(Lectures 5 h/week, Laboratory 21h, Assessment: final exam at the end of each term or September)

  • Alkaloids: General part (definition, chemical and pharmacological properties, biosynthesis, isolation- classification and detailed study of characteristic representatives from each group.
  • Unorganized drugs: Essential oils, fixed oils-fats, waxes-resins, tannins, gums and mucilage (definition, general properties, constituents, classification and study of characteristic representatives from each group.
