Research topics

  • Isolation and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites from marine or terrestrial macroorganisms aiming at the assesement of their biological activity or their ecological role.
  • Isolation of microorganisms from the marine environment (free-living, symbiotic, endophytic or epiphytic) aiming at the investigation of their secondary metabolism in order to isolate and identify bioactive natural products.
