  • Separation and isolation of bioactive natural products using chromatographic techniques
  • Structure elucidation of natural products via spectroscopic methods (UV-Vis, IR, GC-MS, LC-MS, HRMS&HRMS/MS 1&2D NMR).
  • Development of quantitative and qualitative methods for the characterization of plant extracts using chromatographic methods (HPLC-UV & LC-MS).
  • Development and application of dereplication platforms (LC/UPLC-DAD-HRMS&HRMSn) for the structure-oriented isolation and identification of active natural products.
  • NMR and LC/MS-based metabolomics approaches (metabolic profiling, fingerprinting)
  • Development of proteomics and pharmacoproteomics approaches for the investigation of the biological role of natural products using nano-LC-HRMS/MS
  • Development of LC/MS-based cell metabolomics methodologies for the investigation of natural products implication in molecular pathways of cell apoptosis and discovery of cellular biomarkers.
