16 young Greek researchers have reported their scientific work more than 6 thousand times reaching 2% of their field of knowledge while are under 40 years old. Among them only 2 work in Greece, one of them is Ms. Efthimiadou Eleni, Assistant Professor in the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, NKUA. Ms. Efthimiadou is ranked 7th according to the newspaper “To Vima” in the chapter “Science”.

She is Active in the field of nanotechnology and nanomedicine with the aim of developing smart nano-theranostic systems for cancer and cardiovascular, areas in which she is funded.

Today, Ms. Efthimiadou has 61 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, has authored 5 chapters in her
field, and her h Index is 22 (h=22). She participates in Cost actions on nanomedicine and has been funded for her research in the field of nanotechnology and therapeutics"
