Research topics

  • Development of analytical methods (qNMR, LCMS, colorimetric applications) for the quantitation of bioactive ingredients in herbal medicinal products and foods. 
  • Isolation of compounds with pharmaceutical and nutraceutical interest from natural sources. Focus on olive oil and olive products.  
  • Natural products structure elucidation using modern NMR techniques, Mass spectrometry and Molecular Modeling. 
  • Essential oils, volatile, flavor and aroma constituents
