Our PhD research studies involve research in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Natural Products, Pharmaceutical Technology, Biopharmaceutics and Clinical Pharmacy. Our PhD studies graduates are highly qualified, professional scientists, with a sound background on the related scientific disciplines. They enrich with their knowledge and skills the academic, social and industrial fields in Greece and abroad.
Studentships for Greek students can be provided by a variety of sources, including the Ηellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation, State Scholarships (IKY Fellowships) and fellowships from private Foundations (Bodosakis, Niarxos, Onassis, Leventis, etc).
Graduates from Departments of Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Agricultural sciences, Medical Schools and other related disciplines can be applied. For applying for a PhD the candidate should have a master degree or equivalent in a relevant field of interest or a similar field. Other selection criteria include the degree GPA, letters of recommendation, the candidate's research experience in the field of interest or a similar field, demonstrated by publications and presentations in conferences. Graduates from foreign Universities should have a master’s degree or equivalent recognized by the Hellenic National Recognition and Information Center (DOATAP). The level of English language knowledge should be at least of B2 level.
