Topics:

    • Drug Targets: Protein structure, protein-ligand interactions.Enzymes and Receptors (GPCR, ion channels, nuclear receptors)
    • Lead Discovery. Disease biochemistry and drug design. Approach through the molecular mechanism of drug action.
    • Lead optimization. Effect of functional groups and stereochemistry / enantiomers on drug-receptor interactions (and more generally on the biological activity of compounds). Equivalent compounds, groups. Bio-ester.
