The aim of the course is to provide the student with the appropriate information on contemporary medicines.
• The first part deals with the controlled release systems (Tablets, Transdermal, Ophthalmic and Contraceptive Systems, Parenteral Products, etc.) and lists their properties, benefits and their applications.
• The second part gives an account of the systems that have either been introduced in therapeutics in recent years or are in trials, as Monoclonal Antibodies, Liposomes, etc.
